Vertex Compressor Surge Controls
The Vertex is a standard-off-the-shelf control system designed to control and protect compressor sets with one or two recycle loops and or blow-off air valves. This control’s configurability and integrated functionality allows it to be easily field-configured for use on many different compressor types and applications.
The Vertex controller uses OEM-qualified control and protection algorithms ensuring that the compressor sets are controlled and protected per the OEM’s specifications.
The Vertex control’s hardware consists of a ruggedized hardware platform designed for control room or compressor skid mounting in Zone 2 rated hazardous locations. All unit CPU and I/O modules are housed in a compact bulkhead-mounted hardware package, minimizing space and wiring requirements.
