This Privacy Policy is provided by Motor-Services Hugo Stamp, Inc. and Pacific Power Group, LLC (individually or collectively, “MSHS PPG,” “we,” or “us”), and describes our privacy practices related to personal information collected through our websites www.mshs.com and www.pacificpowergroup.com (collectively, our “Websites”) and offline.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any online services that we do not manage or control, including those that may link to or be accessible from or through our Websites.

If you interact with us in a business-to-business capacity, such as where your employer and us have entered into a services agreement, your personal information may be subject to additional notices, which are included in such agreements.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to job applicants.

We may disclose personal information, for the purposes above, to others at your direction or to the following parties:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To our vendors that provide services and/or products on our behalf. We do not disclose personal information obtained for text messaging purposes (e.g., mobile phone number) with vendors for those vendors’ own marketing purposes.
  • To advertisers and other providers that provide online services.
  • To our business partners, such as those we refer business to when you request services or products from us we cannot provide.
  • To the state and/or federal government of the United States, as applicable and as necessary, to comply with MSHS PPG’s status as a government contractor.
  • To law enforcement, government or regulatory bodies, or other authorized parties in order to comply with laws, regulations, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal obligations.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us is among the assets transferred.

Your Choices

If you do not wish to have your contact information used by us to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by sending us an email stating your request to contact@mshs.com or privacy@pacificpowergroup.com.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information described above for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise authorized by law.

This generally means holding personal information for as long as one of the following criteria apply:

  • Whether your personal information is reasonably necessary to manage our operations, to manage your relationship with us, or to satisfy another purpose for which we collected the information;
  • Whether your personal information is reasonably necessary to carry out a disclosed purpose that is reasonably compatible with the context in which the personal information was collected; or

Where personal information is used for more than one purpose, we may retain it until the purpose with the latest period expires.

Right to Delete. You have the right to request that we delete your personal information.
Right to Correct. You have the right to request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
Opt Out Rights. We may sell (for monetary or non-monetary value) and/or disclose for cross-context behavioral advertising the following categories of personal information: Identifiers and Personal Records, Internet or Other Electronic Network Usage Data, and Geolocation Data; to the following categories of third parties: marketing partners, third-party ad companies and other marketing and advertising partners; business partners; and analytics providers.

You have the right to opt out of these types of disclosures. You may opt out of these disclosures via Cookies through our Cookie preference manager by clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the footer of each Website. Submitting California Privacy Rights Requests. You may submit a request by:

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request related to your personal information.

Your request is subject to our verification process, which may require additional information from you depending on the type of request. For example, it may be necessary for us to match two or three data points to verify your identity. If you are an authorized agent, additional verification procedures may apply, including verifying the identity of the California resident you are submitting a request for.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.

We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days.

We endeavor to substantively respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to another 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

If we cannot comply with a request, we will explain the reasons we cannot comply, if applicable.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California privacy rights.

Shine The Light. California residents may also request certain information about certain types of personal information we disclose to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. To submit this type of request, email us using the contact information below with “California Shine the Light Request” as part of the subject line. The information we provide and our response is subject to applicable law.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

When we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last Modified” date at the top of this Privacy Policy and provide a notice that this Privacy Policy has been updated on the Websites’ home page. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the notice on the Websites’ home page. Your continued use of our Websites following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
