MSHS welcomes Carl Soldat as the new Director, Service Delivery & Engineering

MSHS welcomes Carl Soldat as the new Director, Service Delivery & Engineering. With over 25 years of engineering and propulsion experience, Carl will be serving the Gulf/Central, Pacific/West, East/Caribbean/Central America regions from our Fort Lauderdale, Florida location.

Carl joins us from the Safra Group, specifically from their Electrical and Power business unit which provides hybrid propulsion solutions for the aerospace sector. He led the Engineering team supporting the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft electrical distribution products, generators, and turbines. He has over 25 years of experience, in engineering, quality, and management roles in aviation equipment maintenance, repair, and overhaul including propulsion engines. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Carl earned his bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University. After college, Carl stayed in Arizona and moved with his family to Florida in 2017. He enjoys hiking, skiing, woodworking, and home improvement projects.

Carl will be joining us on June 6, 2022; however, he has already started working with me to come up to speed on our business. As the Service Delivery & Engineering executive, he will be based out of the Fort Lauderdale, FL location directly serving Kenny Dennis (Gulf/Central Region); John Evans (Pacific/West Region); Michele Laughlin-Payne (East/Carib/Central America Region-Engine Services); Peter Bennett (East/Carib/Central America Region-Control Systems); Maisa Brajovich (Parts and Service Order Fulfillment); and Peter in ‘t Zandt (Engineering & Technical Services).

During his first days, Carl will be investing his time connecting with the Service Delivery & Engineering work-team members as quickly as humanly possible.
