MSHS is proud to distribute one of the most advanced and innovative marine
propulsion systems: HamiltonJet water jets.
Operation of a water jet
A water jet utilizes a highly developed water pump to generate a velocity
jet stream which generates a thrust force in the opposite
direction to push the vessel forward. The water is sucked in through an intake, passes through the
impeller and is then directly discharged through the nozzle. This generates a powerful forward thrust
what will push the boat forward. A split-duct Astern Deflector is mounted at the back of the steering
nozzle, providing an infinite range of ahead, zero-speed and astern maneuvering.
